纪瑛琳,女,英国剑桥大学英语与应用语言学博士, 英国学术院(英国国家人文与社会科学研究院)博士后,剑桥盖茨学者,伦敦大学国王学院语言,语篇与交流中心研究员(2010-2013)。深圳市政府引进海外高层次人才(孔雀计划)外国语言文学学科专家,深圳大学首位文科海外特聘教授(2013-至今),语言与认知研究中心主任[1] 
主要研究领域为认知语言学应用语言学,包括基于空间事件词汇化模式的语言类型学,儿童一语习得,成人二语习得,认知普遍性与语言独特性因素,以及语言与思维的关系。有主持国际大中型语言学科研项目的经验,多篇著述发表于社会科学引文索引SSCI),艺术与人文科学引文索引(A & HCI),以及欧洲人文学科期刊索引一分区(ERIH INT1)所收录的世界高水平语言学杂志上。[2]
